This communications company wanted to create a foundational set of equipment data that was reliable, accurate and timely. Their goal was to use the data to facilitate the optimization of the total hardware investment, identify non-compliant equipment, have “cradle to grave” equipment tracking from and better measure return, on capital investment.
Clarity designed and implemented an integration solution that consisted of extracting equipment and data warehousing inventory data from corporate billing systems and propagating this data into the enterprise data warehouse.
Integrating this information with existing data made it possible to derive models depicting status and location of equipment over time. This gave the company a better view of equipment ROI and helped them optimize their investments.
